Manual Configuration of SIP Compliant IP handsets

At the end of this article, you will be able to configure and connect your SIP Compliant IP handset within our PBX platform. Should you need any assistance, feel free to contact our support department.

How to configure SIP Compliant handsets

  1. Firstly, log in to your customer portal, select the PBX tab. 

  2. Click on SIP devices towards the bottom-left corner.

  3. Select the SIP device you wish to configure in your SIP Compliant IP handset. Next, copy the SIP details.

  4. Next, locate the IP address of the SIP Compliant IP handset. You should be able to find this in the Menu on your phone.

  5. Copy the IP address and type it in your browser to access the web interface configuration.

  6. Enter the IP address login credentials.

  7. In the web interface, you should be able to enter Authentication information.
    IP Phones | Our SIP device details
    Domain = SIP Server
    User ID = SIP Login
    Password = SIP Password

  8. In the web interface, you should be able to enter SIP Server Information.
    IP Phones | Our SIP device details
    SIP Service = SIP Server
    Port = Port
    Transport = TCP 
    Expires/Subscription Expires = 120 seconds

  9. Save the new configuration and your SIP should appear online on the platform.
